Home was just generally filthy on arrival. Kitchen counters were dirty, pantry had spilled rice, beans, etc In it, oven was filthy. Floors so dirty that we didn't want our baby crawling around on them and there was an exposed carpet tack in the dining room that punctured 2 of us before we managed to hammer it back down. No trash can in kitchen. Cleaning supplies and trash left outside sliding door when we arrived. Hot water in kitchen was turned off and dish washer disconnected. Nothing to cook with in kitchen besides toaster, rice cooker and one pan so we were stranded for cooking. One of the beds upstairs was ridiculously hard such that no one could sleep on it. No garage door opener which was inconvenient to come/go. Bathrooms not cleaned well--we found pubic hair. We've stayed at a lot of vrbo properties and this one was in the worst condition. It's too bad because it is otherwise a potentially beautiful and spacious home.
